Try typing in the WEP "key 1" numbers (not the actual password or passphrase) They are located in the "wireless security" settings. Go to Wireless/Wireless Security and they should be right there. If Default Transmit Key "1" is marked use "key 1" numbers, if "2" is marked use "key 2" numbers, etc. And then I tried your solution I lowerd my wifi channel and the phone instantly connected.
The network cable from the cable modem plugs directly to the back of the Linksys where it says WAN or INTERNET. (It is on the back, small usually red, you may need to use a pen) Hold it in for about ten seconds. Now unplug the power cord from the Linksys, make sure the lights go off.3.
Anyways, I’m enjoying it so far (when I have the time for it) Give it a try!
My internet comes to D-link 655 wireless router from there I have wired connection, one of the connection goes to a switch from this switch I connect wired devices in my office.
Another connection from D-link 655 router goes to another wireless router in my living room which is a Linksys router.
I tried what Tiskilwa suggested and it still doesn't work for me. I had similar trouble when trying to connect to my ipod touch to my home wireles (lynksys) which is secured by a password.
